The Rainbow Wahine Beach Volleyball team is excited to get back on the beach with some of the best teams in the NCAA!
The team has received an invitation to be a part of a Big West sponsored event – the 2021 SoCal Challenge.
The SoCal Challenge will be held in beautiful Manhattan Beach, California on November 13-14, 2021 and promises to be a an outstanding tournament. This year’s field features eight (8) premier women’s collegiate beach volleyball programs for a weekend-long battle on the sand, including four teams from the 2021 NCAA quarterfinals and the 2021 National Champions!
The Rainbow Wahine Beach Volleyball team has never before traveled for a fall event and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to get back into competition!
High level tournament action is the jump start the team needs to get us back where we belong; competing against and beating the nation's very finest. The shortened 2021 spring competition season and the lack of activity in fall 2020 left us hungry for more. We are ready to get back to the beach and represent the University of Hawaii and our community as we prepare for the 2022 season.
