Our fall season of sailing is starting to wrap up at the University of Hawai‘i, and there is excitement as we look towards the spring.
We have a talented group of sailors on our team from Hawai‘i and around the country. They practice hard and have big goals and aspirations for the 2021-2022 school year.
This last year our talented team participated in all six of the Pacific Coast Championships, representing the university, Hawai‘i and you with pride. This year’s team aspires to go further! They hope to win the upcoming 2021 Pacific Coast Championships and have set an academic goal of 3.0 team grade point average for the year.
Our aspirations are attainable, but we need your help to fully realize them. As you know, our island location provides wonderful, year round training ground for sailors. It also means the team travels a lot. With the rising cost of airfare, our team travel budget is often strained.
We are asking each of our sailors to find five people to donate $100 to our program. Can you help us with a gift to support our travel this year?
We appreciate any assistance you can offer and are grateful those who have supported us in the past.
There is much to be excited about this year. This spring the Team Racing PCCs will be in Southern California, Coed Dinghy Regatta’s will be held in Northern California, and the National Championships will be hosted by Tulane in New Orleans, Louisiana – and we hope to see you all there!
