The Performance of a Lifetime

For the first time in its 90-year history, the UH Choral Program has been invited to perform at the American Choral Directors Association Western Region Conference in Long Beach, California, this coming March 2022. The conference is a life-changing opportunity for our students and a chance to represent UH and Hawai‘i on a nationally-renowned stage.

The conference will also give our UH Chamber Singers a chance to connect with our Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and Asian communities and alumni in California as well as recruit future UH Mānoa students. In addition to the conference, we are planning a tour that includes:

• Concert with local Hālau in partnership with the Pacific Islands Ethnic Art Museum in Long Beach, Calif.
• Concert engagement and lecture with our UH Alumni office
• Concert and workshop for area high school students and undergraduate students at the University of Redlands.
